In the drought-prone and resource-stressed Bundelkhand region, Livelihood Care Foundation is spearheading a pioneering initiative to convert agricultural and forest biomass into clean energy. This includes:
Setting up decentralized bioenergy units for village-level energy access
Creating local employment through biomass collection and processing
Reducing dependency on fossil fuels and mitigating climate impacts
Collaborating with JFM societies for sustainable forest residue management
This initiative not only addresses the region’s energy needs but also opens up new income streams for farmers and forest-dependent communities.
